BIOGRAPHY

Silje accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a focus on public and commercial law, in all jurisdictions.

Before coming to the Bar, Silje was an Associate in the commercial litigation team at Maddocks where she acted for a range of commercial, Government and pro bono clients in a broad range of commercial, tort, employment and defamation disputes. Most recently this included acting for a Commonwealth entity in a large litigation involving a multi-million-dollar nuisance and breach of contract claim.

Silje also gained experience in previous litigation roles acting for a range of commercial businesses across various jurisdictions in matters involving commercial law, intellectual property and copyright infringement, media and defamation law, shareholder and corporate disputes, tort law, nuisance claims, personal injury, administrative and public law, employment, discrimination and workplace relations.

Silje also volunteers as a director on the board of the Australian Multiple Birth Association advocating and supporting other parents of multiples in Australia.
